Volunteer Social Group Facilitators support the running of our social groups, which meet every two weeks in central Brighton. The role involves supporting our service users to access the group, making sure they have a good time and feel comfortable and included. Being a Volunteer Social Group Facilitator is a unique opportunity to provide support to this client group, build your own skills and experience, and be part of a growing organisation supporting people in Brighton and Hove.
Asperger syndrome is a condition on the autistic spectrum which affects how a person deals with other people and the world in general. People with Asperger syndrome do not have a learning disability and are sometimes very intelligent, but may still struggle with social situations, like going out and meeting people.
