We can provide free or subsidised fundraising support and advice to voluntary sector organisations on a short or long-term basis.

This support may include:

• Funding needs analysis of the organisation
• Grant and trust funding searches
• Development of funding strategy
• Support with writing funding applications
• Fundraising training for organisations

'Since then working with PDS I’ve learnt more about the wider services on offer. They supported us with finding funding, but they were also good at putting us in touch with other organisations, like networking on our behalf, and were there if we needed help in other areas. I appreciate this holistic approach. Initially PDS worked two days a month for us preparing funding applications and bids, effectively acting as a centre manager for those days. PDS fully understand our needs, think broadly and anticipate what may be an issue in the future for us. It’s their knowledge and experience which has made a difference to the service we’ve received. It has been an important factor in developing our financial sustainability. It’s also helped shape our thinking regarding what we should be doing and we should achieve this as an organisation. It’s been good to have that external influence and viewpoint. The informal way we have worked together has been very good, and the PDS worker has developed a good relationship with this community centre.
