Sarah has worked with ASpire since the project started in 2005. She has an MA in Autism from Sheffield Hallam University and has written four books on Asperger syndrome in adults and a book on other neuro-diverse conditions.
Prior to working with ASpire, Sarah worked in Learning Support in a college and in residential care. She is a qualified post 16 tutor and trainer and delivers training and presentations across the UK on Asperger syndrome and autism. Sarah's partner, Keith, has Asperger syndrome, as do other members of her close family. Tony Attwood, world authority on Asperger syndrome has said: 'Sarah speaks Asperger syndrome as a second language'. |
