Befriender and volunteer out for dinner

NCS volunteers become friends with an isolated person living nearby, visiting them at home for a chat and a cup of tea – some people even visit a local café together or go out for short walks

Do you know someone who is isolated and would benefit from a volunteer befriender?

Do you know someone who would like to become a volunteer befriender?

Just 1 hour a week can make a real difference to someone’s life.

Come talk to us about what we do over refreshments at
The Barn, Westdene Green, 49 Dene Vale, BN1 5ED

Wednesday 13th September 6-8 pm
or
Thursday 14th September 10-12 or 2-4 pm

We look forward to meeting you.

I am interested in starting some volunteer activity and the Westdene Neighbourhood Care scheme looks to provide such opportunity. It would be useful to have a meeting (if that is possible from your perspective) to find out more and to see if I might be a possible addition to the team of volunteers. Thank you.

Hi Pete, thanks very much for your interest in volunteering. I’ve passed your message to the Neighbourhood Care Scheme team, so someone will be in touch with you soon to discuss.
