Brighton Marathon and 10k 2016 — Run for Impetus!Posted on 13th January 2016 by Natalie Brook
With a fresh new year recently started and another 353 days of fulfilling your resolutions to look forward to, what better way to start 2016 than signing up to run the Brighton Marathon or 10k and raise money for charity at the same time?
It’s win-win; running for a local charity ensures all your fundraising efforts benefit people right here in Brighton and Hove, and signing up to a race gives you the motivation you need to be a fitter, healthier you!
Running for Impetus will support our work improving the wellbeing of some of Brighton’s most isolated and disadvantaged people. We help local people by providing support that tackles isolation and improves wellbeing. Everything you raise for Impetus will fund our front line services working directly with people in our local community.
The Brighton Marathon is one of the UK’s favourite 26.2-milers. With a stunning backdrop of the sea in one of the country’s most vibrant cities, you couldn’t ask for a better place to run.
The 2016 event will start on Sunday 17th April at 9.15am in Preston Park, Brighton and finishes on the spectacular Brighton seafront. Find out more about the race here.
The Brighton 10k takes place on the same day as the Marathon, Sunday 17th April. The 10k starts at 8.30am from Preston Park. Find out more here.
