“It’s not on!” – Stop Hate Crime towards people with Learning Disabilities
26th November 2013 10am-3pm
Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove BN3 4AH
“It’s not on! Stop hate crime towards people with Learning Disabilities” – campaign and conference are run collaboratively by many learning disability organisations and non-learning disability organisations in Brighton & Hove. Our aim is to ensure awareness about hate crime against people with learning disabilities is embedded in all mainstream organisations as well as learning disability organisations in the future.
The conference you are invited to is a genuine attempt to bring as many organisations and individuals with learning disablities as possible together to raise awareness of one issue that can have devastating effect on people with learning disabilities living in our city.
The Conference is taking place on Tuesday, 26th November 2013 at the Hove Town Hall, from 10.00am-3.00pm.
The event is free of charge, but booking is essential! Please visit this website and click “Register”, then follow the instructions to secure your place: https://its-not-on.eventbrite.co.uk/
The day will include workshops and information stalls around the topic. We also invited speakers with an expertise in community safety and hate crime incidents directed at people with learning disabilities.
