Impetus is a Brighton and Hove based charity which provides direct support services to local people experiencing disability and/or disadvantage. We also provide infrastructure support to organisations within the voluntary sector.
Transforming Local Infrastructure
Local partnership secures £300k to support community and voluntary action in Brighton & Hove
A partnership of six Brighton and Hove based organisations has successfully secured £300,000 of funding from the Big Lottery. The money will be used to improve the support given to grassroots groups, charities and other not-for-profit organisations and to provide more co-ordinated support to volunteering in the city.
The partnership is made up of the following organisations:
- Brighton & Hove CVSF
- Volunteer Centre Brighton & Hove
- Impetus
- South East Wellbeing Consortium
- The Business Community Partnership
- The Trust for Developing Communities
Both Brighton & Hove Impetus and Volunteer Centre Brighton & Hove are pleased to be part of this exciting project to improve infrastructure support for local organisations, and to continue to develop high quality support for volunteers and volunteering in the City.
